Note: You have to kill the enemies, you can’t let them explode. Objective: During Brain Drive, defeat 5 Session Pound.Sometimes the Brain Crush icon came up, sometimes seems to invalidate the Combo, but sometimes now. I just got the enemy health low, broke its legs, and then had Luka attack at the last moment. Objective: Use a Combo Vision with Luka, defeat 2 Base Paws.Yuito Side Quests in Scarlet Nexus Standby Phase 1 Remember, most quests appear during the Standby portions in-between phases. The list of Quests can be found below, separated by the Phase (chapter) in which they appear - leaving us with two unique lists of quests & walkthrough completion instructions. Importantly, we believe no sidequests are missable, meaning you can always save quests for later if you don't want to tackle them right away. Still, on this page, we list all side quests in Scarlet Nexus alongside rewards and completion instructions with mini quest walkthroughs. You can always look up where to find enemies within the Library section of the main menu, so you should never be lost on where to go. Most of the quests are very straightforward, with the vast majority asking the player to defeat certain enemies in a certain way. Additionally, many of these quests reward items that are important for giving the right gifts to your companions. Side quests are worth it if you want the rewards, however, just like redeeming the Musubi codes from the TV anime. The game doesn't really direct the player towards quests right away, so these can be overlooked if you are not paying attention. They will look like diamonds when you view the map. Quests will appear on the world map around Phase 1 or so, depending on the character. These quests are admittedly a bit unremarkable, but completionists will probably want to finish each one as they process through the game. She considers what she wants from life but doesn’t cut herself off from what (or who) she loves.Scarlet Nexus has 34 side quests for each of the two protagonists' storyline routes, meaning 34 for Yuito and 34 for Kasane. What’s more, is that she deals with it very maturely. Watching her slowly come to the realization that she needs to start living for herself is an interesting one. She followed her childhood friend, Yuito, into the OSF because she wanted to be with him but didn’t stop to consider what she wanted from the experience. 5 – Hanabi IchijoĪn intensely friendly character from the word go, Hanabi’s struggle is a very relatable one. Alternatively, it gives a momentary reprieve to heal and recover mid-battle. It allows the protagonist to use Psychokinesis to their heart’s content without worrying about dodging attacks. Her ability to slow time opens to many possibilities. That said, her Hypervelocity power is fantastic in high-stress battle situations. She sees things like having a relationship with her brother as a “meaningless task”, and even when she opens up more, it doesn’t fade to a satisfactory degree. It goes slightly deeper than that, though, and she’s outright uncaring towards many people in her life. After that, he has such an infectious optimism, it’s hard to say anything bad about him. Once Yuito and/or Kasane help him see that, he opens up significantly. His insecurities about being a former dud blind him to the possibility of doing great things outside of battle. The constant drive to better himself is admirable but also slightly tragic when you understand why it’s there. His problem is that his ability is only helpful in narrow circumstances. Luka is quite likeable from a personal standpoint. It can be great to land a solid strike or take a moment to recover, but it’s not very practical in the heat of an intense battle. His invisibility power, while useful in the story, isn’t that useful for battle. That doesn’t necessarily make them forgivable, as Yuito himself says, but it certainly softens the blow. There grows an understanding of why he acts as he does and how he was left with little choice when it came to many of his worst actions. That said, as the story grows and his facade slowly drops in Bond Episodes.
